Jack Wood is considered one of the most up and coming talents in the motorsports industry.
Jack started his racing career at the young age of 14-years-old. Shortly after beginning his racing journey in the legend car division, Jack was able to capture the 2016 Legends of the Pacific Young Lion Championship. Over the past few years, the young 22-year-old racer has mastered his racing skills in Super Late Models along with competing in a partial schedule in the ARCA Menards Series.
In 2021 Jack raced full-time for GMS Racing in the ARCA Menards Series East as well as the full ARCA Menards Showdown schedule. Jack was also a part of the famed Drivers Edge Development program which was operated by GMS Racing, JR Motorsports and Chevrolet. The Drivers Edge Development program helps young Chevy drivers develop their skills on and off track with specific focus on health, fitness, marketing and social media/sponsorship engagement.
Turning the page to 2024, the Loomis, California native will pursue the ARCA Menards Series West championship piloting the Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) No. 16 NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet SS based in Roseville, California. Wood will also tackle a 14-race slate in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series behind the wheel of the No. 91 Chevrolet Silverado RST.
